General Requirments
Must be 18 years old
Have a high school diploma or GED
Have a passing grade in Algebra 1
Have a valid Pennsylvania drivers license
Reliable transportation
You must be a resident of Beaver, Lawrence, Mercer, or Crawford County
After you graduate
Become a Journeyman Wiremen
Complete 8,000 hours of on-the-job training and required classroom instruction. Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship program, graduates become Journeyman Wiremen prepared to work independently in the electrical industry.

Physical Requirements
Climb ladders, scaffolds, poles, and elevated work platforms.
Work in confined spaces such as attics, crawlspaces, and manholes.
Lift and carry materials weighing approximately 25 to 50 pounds.
Use hand tools and power tools.
Work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
